Because of this, travelers are encouraged to communicate with Tanzania Safari Radar as early as possible if they anticipate any changes to their trip, and it is also strongly recommended to secure travel insurance that can cover last-minute cancellations, medical emergencies, or other unexpected disruptions. This approach ensures that guests have clarity on their options and are financially protected should their travel plans shift.

A. Confirmation of The Tour (Complete Reservation)

To confirm a safari booking with Tanzania Safari Radar, clients must adhere to the following payment schedule based on the date of departure. All payments must be made in USD unless otherwise specified.

  • 1. Bookings made 3 days or less before departure
  • Payment required: Full payment of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking.

    Confirmation: The tour is considered confirmed only after the full amount has been received by Tanzania Safari Radar.

  • 2. Bookings made 4 days or more before departure
  • Payment required: A deposit (e.g., 20% to 30%) of the total tour cost is required to confirm the booking.

    Final payment: The remaining balance is due upon arrival in Tanzania, before the start of your tour.

    Confirmation: The tour is considered provisionally reserved upon payment of the deposit. A final booking confirmation will be sent after the deposit is received.

    Important policy details

    Third-party costs: Our cancellation fees do not cover potential non-refundable charges from third-party suppliers, such as airlines or specific hotels. These non-refundable costs will be deducted from your refund.

    Exceptional circumstances: While our standard policy applies to most cancellations, we may offer flexibility for extraordinary circumstances (e.g., natural disaster, travel restrictions). Such exceptions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
