In the Serengeti National Park, get ready for a wildlife extravaganza like no other. As you venture into this expansive ecosystem, brace yourself for incredible sightings of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas, as well as majestic elephants, giraffes, and zebras. The Serengeti is renowned for its annual Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the plains in search of greener pastures.
Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World," is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. Descending into the crater, you'll be greeted by a unique and diverse ecosystem. This natural caldera is home to an abundance of wildlife, including the endangered black rhinoceros, lions, elephants, buffalos, and various bird species. The crater's fertile land provides ample grazing opportunities, attracting an array of herbivores, which, in turn, draws predators seeking their next meal.
After an early breakfast your journey to Serengeti national park will begin, you will drive towards central Serengeti. On the way you will be able to view beautiful Rift valley view of Ngorongoro crater as you do game drive and later you will reach serengeti gate. Picnic lunch will be offered and later after having an evening game drive you will spend overnight and dinner will be offered in camp/lodge depending on your preference. The park is filled with different kind of large predators and you just have to keep your head up and locate as many as you can find. You also can’t ignore the dazzling landscape full of grasslands striped zebras, wildebeest and Cape buffalo.
You will wake up early around 6:00am and enjoy the beautiful early sun rise in Serengeti. Immediately either before or after breakfast you will begin your morning game drive, you will get on with game viewing until mid-day where you will go at the picnic area for a hot lunch and you will later leave for Ngorongoro conservation area, while game driving on the way to Simba campsite/lodge where you will have dinner and spend overnight.
After an early breakfast you will commence your journey to Ngorongoro crater, the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera. Almost 25,000 large animals live in the crater; you will feast your eyes on large mammals like black rhinoceros, the Cape buffalo and the third largest type of land mammal the hippopotamus. After having an adventurous day, picnic lunch will be offered and you will later depart to Arusha/Moshi.
